Horizons Edge announces new Sports Director
HARRISONBURG, VA—Horizons Edge is excited to announce that DeVeta Webb has joined the staff as the new Sports Director. Prior to joining HE, DeVeta has worked in the various recreation/sporting organizations including the YMCA in Houston and the Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge (BREC). She has been developing leagues, programming, and community activities throughout her career. She has a passion for sports and has participated in many levels of the sporting world, including coaching, as an athletic director, and of course as a player.
DeVeta is originally from Florida and has a Degree in Sport & Fitness Management from Troy University. Currently, she is pursuing an MPA. Moving from the greater Houston area, DeVeta is excited to join the HE team and become a part of the Shenandoah Valley sports community.
