We will continue to update the guidelines as we learn more from local and federal agencies.
All unvaccinated athletes, employees, and visitors aged 2 years and older are required to wear a mask while inside of Horizons Edge Facilities. We recommend that all other guests practice social distancing where possible, and wear masks in accordance with CDC guidelines for vaccinated parties.
Further facility guidelines are outlined below:
· Outdoor Playing Fields
· Guests are encouraged to bring in their own chairs
· Masks are not required in outdoor settings as long as social distancing can be maintained.
· We ask that you observe social distancing guidelines as recommended by the CDC
Indoor Facilities:
· Food and drink are permitted only in spectator areas and on the sidelines of the court and field house.
· We ask that you observe social distancing guidelines as recommended by the CDC.
Food Service Areas:
· Horizons Edge Sports Campus has incorporated CDC recommendations, OSHA and local Health Department standards, and industry best practices into operating guidelines for our staff to follow.
· We have extensive cleaning and handling standards in place for our food preparation and public seating areas.
· Kitchen areas are thoroughly cleaned with sanitizing solutions multiple times daily – before, between, and at the close of shifts. When preparing food, team members are required to wash their hands more frequently, not less than once every 30 minutes.
· Team members change food and beverage gloves frequently, not less than once every 30 minutes.
Team Members:
· We require all employees to report any illness to a supervisor and employees are encouraged to remain at home if they feel ill.
· We require notification of positive COVID-19 cases in a team member’s household. In such circumstances, the employee is removed from the work schedule and not permitted on Horizons Edge Sports Campus premises until they produce a negative COVID–19 test or have quarantined the required length recommended by the CDC.
· Our team members are provided with sanitizing stations, such as a washbasin with soap and/or bottle of hand sanitizer.
Additional Cleaning/Safety Standards:
· Signage is positioned throughout the venue encouraging social distancing, hand washing, and other safety practices.
· Hand sanitizer is provided throughout the facility.
· We are continuously monitoring and improving our operations for the safety of our participants, spectators, and team members.
· We are committed to communicating with coaches, event owners, participants, vendors, and other visitors regarding our guidelines, and requesting everyone work together to keep us all safer.
What’s the Horizons Edge Sports Campus plan if a participant has tested positive for COVID-19?
· We are communicating to event owners, partner organizations, renters, team members and those who register online, that anyone who has tested positive with COVID-19 is not permitted to enter the venue or surrounding facilities until they have been released by their doctor and diagnosed as “recovered.”
· We request that any guest who is experiencing any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 produce a negative test prior to attending an event or activity at Horizons Edge.
· If any coach, participant, or spectator has recently been exposed to someone who has contracted and tested positive for COVID-19, they must not return to Horizons Edge Sports Campus without quarantining and providing a negative COVID-19 test to the venue’s management team. Anyone who has been in close contact as defined by the CDC with an individual who tests positive will not be allowed to return to the facility or participate in programing until they meet one of the following: ·
If vaccinated:
· They should get tested 3-5 days after exposure even if they have no symptoms
· They must remain away from Edge until they receive a negative test result, or:
· If they choose not to get tested, they should watch for fever or other symptoms
· If they do not have any symptoms, they may return to the Edge after 7 days
· If they experience symptoms, they must stay away from the Edge until they have been without a fever for at least 24 hours, and 10 or more days have passed since symptoms first occurred
·
If unvaccinated:
· They should quarantine for at least 5 days
· They should watch for fever or other symptoms
· They should get tested 5-7 days after exposure
· If they receive a negative test result, they can shorten quarantine and return to the Edge in 10 days
· If they choose not to get tested, they should watch for fever or other symptoms
· If they do not have any symptoms, they may return to the Edge after 14 days
· If they experience symptoms, they must stay away from the Edge until they have been without a fever for 24 hours, and 14 or more days have passed since symptoms first occurred
· If a participant informs Horizons Edge that they have tested positive, we will conduct contact tracing and alert individuals who may have been exposed.
